Your Film, Your Soundtrack

Music is one of the most powerful parts of your wedding film. It sets the tone, carries the emotion, and ties everything together. This questionnaire is your chance to help shape the soundtrack of your story.

There are no wrong answers here, and the more you share, the better. Whether you have a specific playlist in mind or just a general vibe, all of it helps me find the perfect sound for your film.

I source all music through Artlist.io, a licensed music library, so your film is fully cleared for sharing online, with family, on social media... everywhere. If you'd like to browse and send me songs you love, you can explore their library anytime.

Your suggestions are incredibly helpful and I take them seriously, but I do make the final music selections based on the pacing, emotion, and flow of the edit. Think of this as a collaboration... your input guides me, and I'll use my ear to bring it all together.

So grab a drink, put on some music (fitting, right?), and let's get into it.

Your Names

The Vibe

Let's start with the big picture. How do you want your film to feel when you watch it back?

Select all that apply.

This doesn't have to match what you want for your film... I just want to get a sense of your taste.

There's no right answer. Just tell me the first thing that comes to mind.

Pacing & Energy

The pacing of the music shapes the rhythm of your whole film. This helps me understand the energy you're drawn to.

Think: acoustic guitar, piano, strings, soft vocals, no vocals at all... anything goes.

Your Songs

Now for the fun part. If you have specific songs in mind, I'd love to hear them. And if you don't, that's completely okay too.

This might be a song from your first dance, a song that was playing at a meaningful moment, or just one that makes you think of each other. Tell me the song and why it matters to you.

If you haven't decided yet, no worries! You can always come back and update this. If you have chosen, I'd love to know why you picked it... that context helps me find music that complements the emotion of that moment.

You can browse at artlist.io. If you find anything that speaks to you, paste the song name, artist, or link here. The more the better! Even if I don't use the exact track, it tells me so much about what you're drawn to.

I may not be able to use these directly due to licensing, but they're incredibly helpful as a reference point. Think of it as a mood board for your ears. Share Spotify links, song titles, artists... anything that feels like "us."

The Finer Details

Almost done! Just a few more things that will help me get this just right.

If so, tell me about it! A string quartet, a friend performing a song, a live band? This helps me think about how the live audio and the film's music can work together.

This is just as helpful as knowing what you love!

A Spotify playlist you two always listen to, a song from a movie that made you cry, a genre you've been obsessed with lately... all fair game.

Thank you for taking the time to fill this out. I can't wait to start building your soundtrack.
