My
Why
For years, I thought I understood love.
But in 2024, when I got married, I realised that I was experiencing something that had completely transformed me: real, unconditional, all-consuming love. In that moment, I finally got it. I understood what all those couples before me had been feeling.
My wedding day was everything I'd dreamed of. We had an incredible photographer who captured stunning images that I'll treasure forever.
But there's one thing I wish I'd done differently: I wish we hired a videographer. I would give anything to be able to re-live those moments and that day just as it was.
Photography freezes a moment in time and it’s incredible. But video? Video brings you back into that moment. It lets you hear the crack in your partner's voice during their vows. The uncontrollable laughter during speeches. The way your mom said "I love you" when she saw you in your dress. Video doesn't just help you remember, it helps you feel it all over again.
That's why I do what I do.
I create films that capture not just what your day looked like, but what it felt like. The big moments, the quiet ones, and all the messy, beautiful, perfectly imperfect details in between. I pride myself on building genuine connections with my couples quickly, because when you trust me, I can tell your story in a way that's authentically and unapologetically you.
Your story brought you here.
Let me help you remember why you never want to forget it.
The
Experience
The best part about hiring a professional? You can actually relax knowing everything's being taken care of. I'll walk you through the process and help you get the most out of our time together. I'll provide as much or as little guidance as you need so you can feel confident your day will be captured exactly as you envisioned it—ready to relive whenever you want.
Getting to Know You
Before anything else, we need to connect. Whether it's over coffee in Victoria or a video call, I want to hear your story. How you met, what you love about each other, what your wedding day means to you. If you're still figuring out the details, that's totally fine—I'll help you think through what matters most and what we should prioritize.
About a month before your wedding, I'll send you a questionnaire that digs into the specifics. Then we'll meet again to talk through the game plan, discuss how you want your film to feel, and lock in any particular narrative or theme you want woven through your video.
Your Wedding Day
I show up early, say hi, and then get to work. My approach is what I call "guided documentary"—I'm mostly invisible, letting moments unfold naturally so you can be fully present. But if things feel stuck or awkward, I'll gently step in with direction to keep things flowing.
If you've opted for a second shooter (usually my husband Ryan or another videographer I've worked with and trust), we'll have already met to go over your day. This means we can be in two places at once during getting ready, and ensure we're not missing any of those simultaneous moments.
I'm serious about audio. I use professional gear to record your vows, speeches, and all the meaningful words clearly. I also coordinate with your photographer so we're working together, not getting in each other's way.
After the Wedding
Once your day is done, I dive into editing. I'm looking for the aesthetic shots that make your film beautiful, but also the raw, real moments that make it feel true. My style mixes documentary and cinematic storytelling—we'll have already talked about what feeling or narrative you want, and I'll craft your footage into something that captures exactly that.
Films are delivered within 8-10 weeks, though I usually get them to you sooner. If you ordered a trailer, you'll have it within a week so you can share the excitement while it's fresh. Everything is delivered digitally in a format that's easy to share or save forever.
The
Investment
Wedding Videography
Starting at $3,750
Wedding packages start at 8 hours of coverage, capturing your day from the morning prep through the ceremony, reception, and everything in between. Honestly, it's often those in-between moments—the ones you didn't plan for—that end up revealing who you are as a couple. That's what I'm after.
Each package includes professional audio recording, collaboration with your photographer, and a highlight film that tells your story the way you want it told. We'll customize coverage based on what matters to you.
Add-ons available:
Second shooter (usually my husband Ryan or another videographer I trust)
Short trailer (wide for TV/computer or vertical for social media)
Full unedited ceremony video
Extra coverage hours
Elopement Videography
Starting at $1,700
Elopements are for couples who want something intimate—just the two of you or maybe a handful of your favorite people. Whether you're eloping on Salt Spring Island, in Italy, or somewhere totally unexpected, I'm here to capture every quiet exchange and joyful moment exactly as it happens.
Coverage is flexible starting at 3 hours. I approach elopements differently than big weddings because they feel different. Your film will be personal, authentic, and totally you.
